  • Would you like to linger in Midsummer’s endless light, surrounded by the wild beauty of the archipelago?

Join us at Midsommardans, and let the celebration stretch beyond the stage. Stay overnight on Grinda and fully immerse yourself in the experience—whether at the charming Grinda Wärdshus, the cozy Cottage Village, the serene Sea Lodge, or under the open sky at the campsite.

For Midsummer weekend, Grinda offers a range of overnight stay packages to choose from, inviting you to fully immerse yourself in the celebration and the archipelago’s long, luminous nights.

    Check out their webpage.

The Performances

  • For seating, the outdoor stage is fully immersed in the natural setting of Grinda’s open fields. Bring a picnic blanket and settle into the summer grass for a close-to-nature experience.

If you need an accessible chair or alternative seating, we offer chairs and benches. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any needs or concerns. We are committed to making the experience as accessible and welcoming as possible.

  • The weather in Sweden is beautifully unpredictable, so we recommend bringing a jacket or umbrella if the forecast looks uncertain.

Our program is designed to be flexible and reflective of the Swedish summer climate, with a rain plan in place if needed.

After all, there’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing.

  • There will be one daytime performance and one evening gala. Alongside the performances, there will be opportunities to meet the dancers, observe company class and rehearsals, and participate in free movement workshops for the public.

An exact schedule for Midsommardans, including specific times, will be announced soon.
